cfi happenings

so much is going on at the chicago fashion incubator.. all six of us are running around like crazy preparing everything for a very busy month of july... sampling, fashion show, photo shoots, branding, bus. filing, the list goes on and on...

a four hundred year old tree fallen to its fate..

nature's power and destruction has disconnected this

world...

perched along the shore...water warms. sand heats. and clouds float away...the children come alive...

and scream out to the horizon where the water blends into the sky...

cool droplets covering their faces...not a care in the world...
only in search of relief...the world at peace when a child's world lights up...

hours of work. yards of paper. retaped and retraced. inches added and inches cut away. spring '11 patterns almost complete.

artificial light guides my hands...
after a day of running from old friend to the next...

i have one last reminder from the biggest surprise of them all...
