an unexpected world

the vapor in the air freezes a frozen world that engulfs everything in its midst
a beautiful layer that hides all imperfections...
what a wonderful world it would be to live in hoar frost.

where the land is sky...and the sky turns into earth.
the horizon hides and leaves us wondering in complete ambiguity...

amongst winter

winter surrounds our worldleaving new boundaries and adventures...

lone snowman

greeter of the bus stop...

in an instant it falls in place

head had hit the pillow..

thoughts swirled in my head..

then it all started making sense..

switched on the light..

grabbed the paper,

had laid blank for months..

scratched autumn winter 2011

across the white space..

laid back down to sleep

morning mountains

dark clouds rising from the lake

forming a protective ridge

standing strong against the sun

keeping the day away

snow flowers

snow collects on the forgotten crisp autumn foliage...leaving a garden of 'snow flowers'...

what is to come

a few last moments of barren branches and cleared walk ways...

the snow is coming and soon we will be blanketed in white.
the way a crow
shook down on me
the dust of snow
from a hemlock tree

has given my heart
a change of mood
and saved some part
of a day I had rued
